Help !! How do you cancel changes to a GP order?

Posted on by 15

If I open an existing sales order and make changes and then decide i don't want to save those changes (that is, I change my mind and just want to leave it as it was myindigocard then there does not seem to be a way to cancel out of the order.  When I try to exit, it asks me if I want to Save (which i don't want), Delete the order (which I definitely don't want), or Cancel (which just brings me back in the order).  The only option available is to try to undo or put all of my changes back to the way it was when I started - but what if I forget all the changes ???   It seems odd that there is no way to just cancel out.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Totoes,

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you.

Unfortunately, once you tab off the field on the sales line after making changes, the changes are saved to the SOP10200. You will not be able to cancel the change at that point. My suggestion would be to make changes to documents in your test company before making changes in your live.

    Becky
