Posted on by 280

Hi Everyone.

Hope that all of you are keeping safe.

I am trying to split a job planning line for a job that i created but i am getting the below error message after running the "Split Planning Lines" batch job.

There are job planning lines that i have created for the related Job Task line.

    RE: Job Planning line splitting

    Hi,

As Steven wrote that Splitting planning line function only works for a planning line of type Billable & Budget. It splits the line to two lines one as billable and other as budget.

The message you are getting is not an error but a message that there is no Job Planning line that can be split.

If you have removed the split lines then you should create a new line of type Budget & Billable and only then you can split again.

    Denys,

What does your Planning Lines look like for the Cost of Service Task? You can split the lines of the Both Schedule and Contract type into two

separate planning lines: Schedule and Contract. Make sure you have a Planning Line with Both Schedule and Contract and it will split into 2 Planning Lines.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve
