Column Layout, Current datefilter - 12m

Hello,

I am trying to work out how to get the 'comparison' date formula to take the current datefilter and go back 1 year.

i.e. if I enter the range: 01/03/17..12/03/17 into the date filter.

I would expect by putting in -12 into the comparison date formula, and tick 'Keep Comparison Period Scope'

then it should work out 01/03/16..12/03/16 However I actually get 01/03/16..31/03/16

I'm sure I am just using the wrong formula, but I am coming up short when looking at the help files.

Thanks

    Hello stephenwatson2010,

    You have to write some logic.

    Get your Date Filter and get the both date, and use Calcdate formula to assign the 1 year back date, and then filter.

    Reference:  Get One Year Back:  MESSAGE('1 YEAR BACK : %1',CALCDATE('-1Y',TODAY));

    Thanks for your response.

    I was hoping that there would be an answer that did not involve code.

    However if this isn't possible it is still good to know.

    Thanks again
