Proforma Invoice (Sample Invoice)

Hi,

I am using AX 2012 CU7, I have develop a report for sample invoice, based on the GDN created for a sales order. At this stage sales order will open or delivered but not invoiced. I am getting data from SalesParmLine table. It work fine until we don't have any change in GDN. If we change the GDN like cancel it or change some quantity. It create copy of all items in SalesParmLine Table. 

So I am feeling difficulty to get the latest and real items which are related to the last GDN. Please help me to solve this issue.

    Hi Nadeem,

    Usually, you can create a pro-forma invoice by creating a normal invoice, don't post/update, but do print it. It is standard functionality.

    But I need it before creating invoice. I need pure GDN's not canceled, modified etc.

    It is a bit more easy than I had written above. On the sales order, you can select the Pro forma invoice button to create the it. If there are multiple deliveries which aren't invoiced yet, it would be cumbersome to create a pro forma invoice with only the items from the last delivery. It would be possible to use the 'update now' field on each line to indicate what should be presented. This is not optimal, I do agree with that. You can also consider a customization.
