Purchase Order Vendor Dimensions overwritten by Project Dimensions

When creating a purchase order and selecting a project, the header dimensions will contain only the dimensions from the project.

On line level however D365 Finance merges nicely both dimensions.

As we at our client we use the standard Vendor Dimensions, we would like to have this one, togheter with the project dimensions on our PO header.

Is there a solution for this? Or a workarround?

Dear,

you will update Vendors at the system and make the default dimension value same Vendor Account Number.

entity Vendors V2.

Hi N.Heremans,

This is currently not supported in the standard application. You will get a question to default the dimension from the project. If you select yes, it will get only the dimensions from the project, otherwise from the vendor.

It would require a customization to get the dimensions merged.

if he add dimension to the vendors sure he will get each dimensions from projects.

this is right way and clear .
