I’m filling in for a co-worker due to vacation and have a customer that uses Business Central Cloud, that must be updated to "next major version". In this connection, a new version of their PTE customizations app has been added with adjustments, which was set to be applied after the "next major" was applied.

The upgrade to "next major" has failed and as far as I can see it is because there is a bug in their PTE app that contains their customizations.

If I look under extension management, the app in question with the status "Completed" and the message "Release completed" is in the field Overview. I can see under their apps that it is not active, because it does not appear in the list. My question now is, what will happen next time Microsoft tries to update with "next major", will the PTE app then try to hang up again, or will it be ignored and thus the update will probably go through?
