Hello Team,

Hope you all doing well.
In Leave and balance module > analytics > current balance analysis, Can i know how this Power BI report work??

I have assigned a leave plan(sick leave) to an employee and then reassigned him from that leave plan and assigned him to another new leave plan(new_sick_leave). After this my analytics report is showing wrong values.

So is this because i need to refresh my reports ? If yes then how do i do the refresh

Or does the Power BI report show both the leave plan added together in the analysis report ??

Please let me know your view on this.

Hi Hish,

It seems that there is indeed an issue with the scenario that you described - as you already stated, the PowerBI report is showing both plans together and also accruing for the initially assigned plan. This has already been brought in attention of the Development talent team and the fix is in progress.

Can i know if we delete a leave plan that has been accured, will that affect the analytics report. As when i removed the employees assigned to a leave plan and assigned to another plan >> the analytics is not getting updated accordingly.

Please let me know if you have any idea regarding this issue.

You will not be able to delete a leave plan, if there are dependent leave& absence bank transactions already in the system, in order to avoid an impact to balances.

Once the Delete button is pressed you will get an error: "Leave and absence plan cannot be deleted while dependent Leave and absence bank transaction exist. Delete dependent Leave and absence bank transaction and try again."

You can use the leave and absence bank transaction entity to delete the dependent transactions. One thing to keep in mind with balances, they are tied to the leave type, not the plan. If you delete a plan and enroll an employee in a new plan, but the type is the same you will see an existing balance until those transactions are deleted from the plan. Capabilities are being added in the next month or so to enable deleting leave bank transaction records from within the application. Be sure to follow the release notes to get an update.
