My client has 11 companies, 7 are Historical. They insist they need all the historical companies. I am going to update them to current but they are on GP 2013 so I need to apply a service pack to GP 2013 then update to GP 2016. All but 2 of the companies updated just fine, both are 'Historical'. I am getting "prior update error" on the two companies and cannot move forward. When I look at DU000030 it shows that both are getting the error on empty tables. These are the errors:
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'Benefit_Fiscal_Max'. the accounts referenced are BE010130 and BE020230. They are both empty and look like the accounts in companies that updated correctly
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Invalid column name 'INDEX1'. This was originally invalid column Benefit_fiscal_max. but since the tables were empty I recreated them then got this error. the accounts are DD30100 and DD30101. I do not even see an 'INDEX1' column in either the company with the error or companies that updated fine.
I have removed all references from the DU000030 but continue to get the errors. All other companies updated just fine. Again, this is just the service pack so I can update to GP2016.
Any insight on how to get past this? This is already so time consuming with 11 companies. We will be moving to a new server and I'm tempted to leave these two companies out and do them later so I can move forward.
Thank you in advance for any help.
