Budget Control for Fixed Assets

Hi All,

We created a budget register for ledger type-Assets.the system in not checking budget for those ledgers on fixed asset journal even though i created fixed asset budget register.

Budget checking is working fine for Type -Expense but not for Fixed Assets.

Kindly help.

You are correct. The budget cost control does not check for Balance accounts.

Various Places I've seen that Microsoft knows that this is a limitation not wished for by many customers and MS is working on improving the cost control to incorporate Balance accounts (but as of now not possible)

I read that we can set budget control on inventory purchase. May be the same logic apply for FA purchase too?
