LCS System Diagnostic Service Registry Permissions

Hi All,

Whilst going through the LCS diagnostic Service installation instructions here on TechNet:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn268615.aspx

You're asked to edit a registry key permission: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\services\Dynamics Server\6.0 on the SQL Server hosting the AX database. But that key isn't there - it's on the AOS where we're told to change a different registry key.

So we're wondering if the TechNet is wrong and the key information should be swapped or if we need to add the key manually or install an AX server component to force creation.

Right now we assume the keys should be swapped but aren't certain.

Can any one confirm or refute our assumption?

You're correct, I hit the same thing when configuring LCS System Diagnostics in my environments, TechNet is incorrect.
