I am dealing with multiple companies in Dynamics AX 4.0, and can not find where to enter the company's tax id #. Our professional support suggested using the Tax Exempt Number field under the Company Information heading under the Basic tab, but I can't believe that is correct. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Aggie John,
On my Company Information form I have the "Tax 1099" tab. On this tab I have the "Federal Tax ID" field. You have to turn on the configuration in the "Country/region - specific features" for the United States. Hope this helps. --Tom
