Latest .net Framwork SDK is not updating in my visual studio

Dear Experts,
I have downloaded and installed .Net Framework SKD 8.0  but i am not able to add it in my visual studio can you please help me.Below is screen shot of of my visual studio it does not show .Net Framework 8.0

    The last version of .NET Framework is 4.8.1.
     
    You must be talking about .NET 8.0, which isn't the same thing as .NET Framework. It's a different framework, originally called .NET Core. I agree that the names are confusing, but we in Dynamics should be used to it. :)
     
    You seem to be creating a .NET Framework project and therefore the list contains versions of .NET Framework. If you want to use the other framework, you must use a different project template.
     
    Note that F&O is a .NET Framework application. If you want to create an assembly that you'll use in X++, you must use .NET Framework, not .NET 8.0.
