we are using project operations and F&O integrated module. We want to track the presales activity in project operations and track against each project.
Hi Neel,
You can always create a “draft” Project that you assign hours to the salesperson working with this customer. Timesheets are submitted against the project early on, so it tracks the pre-sales cost as well.
You will need to consider your client's workflow though, currently, this is one option but with updates and product maturity we will see more.
An Opportunity is created > Project (draft) created > Task & Hours assigned to Sales > Sales submits hours against the project.
Project (draft) created: This step can be two-fold, one is to grab the pre-sales cost and the second is to use it for an estimation tool for the project.
