Hi folks,

I did setup a new company on NAV2013 and checks are printed with the CA word instead US word ex:

Eight CA Dollars and 0/100

Where is located the setup to change to US as default?  I did check vendor, company info and bank setup with no luck.

Appreciate the help.

    Vishal,

Somehow the check start printing with US currency after I re-enter the "LCY Code" as USD.

    Thank you much.

    Vishal,

It's a US database and the currency "LCY Code" under General Ledger Setup is "USD".

Also see, if there is no customization in the check report.

There is not customization on the check report

"Currency Numeric Description" field against this currency.

On what page number is located the "Currency Numeric Description"?

If it is canadian database and you have not setup any currency in Payment Journal or Bank, system would print CAD (Default) as currency in Check.

Also see, if there is no customization in the check report.

Also, check LCY Code in General Ledger Setup and see related currency setup and

"Currency Numeric Description" field against this currency.

Normally value is getting printed from this "Currency Numeric Description" field field.

Default Currency is defined in General Ledger Setup as LCY Code.

related to cheques when you select Vendor or Bank system updates Currency Code in Journal accordingly.

    Vishal,

The field is blank under payment journal screen but somewhere else it's been default to print the CANADIAN currency.

What is your default currency setup? If it is CA and the value of the currency code in the Payment Journal is Blank, it will show you CA. Also, if the value of currency code there is CA, it will show you the same result.
