Hi All
We Perform Opening Transaction For 4 year its always Took So Much Time from 4-7 Day but In this Year i have A time Problem And Posting Problem Once i do The opening Procedure No User Could Post Any Transaction invoice Or Journal the system is freeze and hang with no posting
i put previous year On Hold ( The Year I want To Close )
current year open
any help would be appreciated

Your period 13 in 2019 is on hold.
Can you change that status to open and try again?

Is there an error message that users get if they try to post something in the new year?
If so, can you share details of the error message they get?

I was just searching on LCS if there is any hotfix available for this issue on ax 2012 But I found a hotfix for ax 2009 and it was mentioned that we experience slow performance during fiscal year close when more than seven dimensions are involved and each dimension contains several elements. So How many dimension do you have in your system and What is the transaction volume approx. in a year?
Taking 4 to 7 days is not normal at all. Did you check any hotfix on LCS or open a ticket with Microsoft to check transactions in DB? There might be a some transactions in your AP/AR/Inventory/GL modules which are causing delay while year end close.

If there is no error, how do you know that your people cannot post then?
What makes them stuck?
yes we have 14 dimensions
the maximum number of dimension we use in the account is 7 for 2 main account
last hotfix we apply is 6.2.1000.156 we are too late about using hotfix
should i download them all or just the last one
