Purchase Order "receipt" date does not show when open quality order in ATP info

Working with an ATP + issue margin delivery date control for sales, and a procurement process with quality inspection (mandatory inspection triggered by quality association, updates batch disposition code if test failed).
 
Noticed that, when checking ATP info, either via a sales order line or via the item itself, the receipt quantity on the confirmed receipt date disappears when quality orders are open.
 
When new sales orders (SO) are created during the period quality orders are open, ATP will throw the new SO date to the end of the time fence, when there may be sufficient stock.
 
Any ideas on how to solve this?
