I need to reverse stock revaluation postings that occured in the past, because at that time, the posting profiles were not setup correctly.

I would normally create a stock movemement journal, specifying the offset account, but i now also need to control the main account. 

Is there somewhere in AX, that this can be done? 

I could just do the reversal on the GL side, but then my stock value report (as at that date) does not balance...

Any ideas?

    what do you mean by " I now also need to control the main account" ?

    any type of control?

    you can run potential conflict inventory and general ledger report, it may help you.

    Hello James Solomon,

    To me this sounds as if your need to change the item group and inventory posting setup, which is very difficult in a running system.

    Rather than trying to reverse what happened in the past, is it an option to do a correction that will fix things for the future or do you have to adjust the historical data because of reporting issues?

    Can you possibly spend a few additional words on what happened?
