NAV 2016.  Need to be able to export a report to excel that we can use for a physical inventory count.  Needs to include bin, item number, item description and qty on hand.  Also need to be able to sort it by bin.

TIA

Copy/paste? Or do you want to import the results, too?

No need to have the ability to import results at this time. Just need a sheet to be used on a clipboard.

Well, then Copy/Paste, errm, Send to Excel is your friend. As long as you can generate the calculated inventory, you can copy/paste the journal contents into excel and do your sorting/formatting afterwards.

    Hi Jared,

open 'Whse. Phys. Invt. Journal' or 'Phys. Inventory Journal' (depending on the setup of your warehouse), select the batch and hit 'Calculate Inventory'. This generates the journal for all existing items, their bins and quantities. You can copy-past this to Excel, or print the report choosing to export Excel (I prefer copy-paste though).

    Hope this helps.
