Hello together,
for one of our subsidiaries, we would like to use the sales order subscription for our rental business.
We would invoice a service item monthly/quarterly to the customer.
This works like we need it, but we are not sure how we close/finalize the order once the rental contract with the customer expires.
I'm happy and thankful for every input.

thank you for your consideration - I already read this community entry, but it didn't really help.
I made some further tests and I may have found the solution:
Since the sales order lines and the order itself always moves back to "Open order" whenever an invoice is done in an subscription order, the user has to cancel the whole order itself. It then moves to the status "Invoiced" in the lines as well as on the order header.
The user is still able to rework the order and to change/create lines - whenever this is done, the sales order moves back to status "Open order".
