Flow that triggers when a Contact joins a specific Segment

Hi all you genius people,

I need some help today:

How do I create a Power Automate Flow that triggers when a Contact joins a specific Segment?

I know there's a special n-to-n relationship between and that we can't use the SegmentMember field and I also found Amey Holden's guide on how to add Contacts to a Segment with a Flow, but I still can't seem to find the solution for my question.

    It's really too bad that this isn't possible. Hopefully something that can be added soon. It would be so incredibly helpful.

    Hi emildusi,

    Unfortunately, There are no triggers specific to this in flow yet.

    Perhaps you can achieve your goal indirectly through other customizations:

    1.Create one custom field in contact entity, which is used to mark whether the contact is added to the specific segment.

    2.Create one on-demand workflow in the contact entity, update the custom field, then save and active the workflow:

    3.Create one customer journey, set as following screenshot:

    ---select the specific segment and run the workflow you just created, save and go live the journey:

    4.Finally, you can use the custom field change as trigger in the flow and set filter to check it's value:
