Company currently uses PaperSave (Pairsoft) and has many years of documents attached to GP transactions. (multiple GP companies as well)
I know GP has the doc attach function - and BC has it too! (We're looking to making the switch)
We're trying to figure out why we still need PaperSave and what happens to the documents that were attached if we leave PaperSave
Seems like we're paying for a service that might not be needed? We don't use PaperSave for anything else......
They are completely independent of each other. Try not scan the documents in a very highly resolution. They will quickly make your database grow.
Can the attach doc function be turned on in GP while also using Papersave?
You will need to extract the images stored in Papersave and import them into whatever your final solution is. There is no tool to import images so you will need some coding to get this done. The trick will be tying a document number to an image.
