How to restore AX2009 SQL database in a new server?

Hi all

How to move database from  customer servers,restore it and use it in my test server if have only Full SQL Database Backup.

 I tried that but when  start AOS service there is error.

Kindly any one giude me to restore it ,and conecct to AOS server.

    I did it couple of days before, I was also having AOS service error. Can you please tell me what error you are facing.

    You should:

    1. Reset the database owner to the account under which you run your AOS.
    2. Reset UserInfo.sid for the admin user to the sid of the user under which you want to work with the database.

    You can find out your sid by running whoami /user

    One more thing: AX 2009 use a few stored procedures two of which are mandatory to start working with a database: CreateServerSessions and CreateUserSessions. Make sure they are successfully restored and compiled without errors. Their source code might include the name of the original database so you should make the necessary corrections in case you've restored the backup to a database with a different name.
