If you look at the Help text of that field, you will find more information.

"Specifies if the report is to be used with a static design or a dynamic design (RDL)."

By using web search, you can find this article: docs.microsoft.com/.../deploy-language-specific-versions-of-a-report

Typically, when you deploy a report, one version of the report is deployed. This version can then be rendered automatically in every language that is supported by Microsoft Dynamics AX. However, you can configure Microsoft Dynamics AX so that language-specific versions of a report are deployed. A language-specific version of a report is sometimes referred to as a static version.

    Hi @rp@n,

    Just search it.

    -

If you select the Use Static Report Design check box in the Report Deployment Settings form, Microsoft Dynamics AX produces language-specific versions of the report design with labels and column sets fully resolved. This occurs the next time that the report is deployed to the report server. These reports are called static RDL reports. The Microsoft Dynamics AX reporting framework automatically uses the design that is appropriate given the context of the user running the report.

If you want the multi-language reports for the following documents to be rendered instead of the Static Report, Un-check the desired reports in the “Use static report design” column.

    thanks blue,

what i understand, static report design marked = yes those reports which having multiple designs based on languages. So, that when user going to run that report , the report design is automatically picked based on language setting.

    is it correct ?

    Hi @rp@n,

    Sorry, I missed your reply.

Yes, it will generate a report design with a specific language version.

    Thanks Blue,

if i unchecked the "Static report" then it will called the default design only, i mean "report" not the other designs...

means it will not called the design with specific version.

    is it rite?

    Hello @rp@n,

    Has your question been answered?

If so, would you please be so kind and mark it as verified?

    Many thanks for your support,

    Ludwig
