I have a requirement where user want to group Sales records in quarter(s) and month(s) balance.
If selected month more than 1 quarter, then report appear by quarter and month balance.
For example,
user will enter From Month & From Year in the report parameter.
If selected month start from May to Dec, then report will appear as 2 quarters and 2 months (one column is May+Jun+Jul, one column is Aug+Sep+Oct, one column for Nov and one column for Dec).
Is this achievable using Tablix column grouping though?
I knew that we can group month by month, or quarter by quarter. But grouping by quarter(s) with remainder month(s), is that even possible? If it is, how?
I just don't see how we can achieve this.
Any insights would be appreciated.
