Windows Installer Package Error during the Installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX R3 Async Client in Windows 7

Hi All!

I'm running into an issue where during the Installation of Microsoft Dynamics AX R3 Async Client in Windows 7,

I get this error:

"There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Any idea as to why this error occur during the AX Setup?

did you run as admin? check the event log?

Hi,

The most common cause of the error is an outdated or a damaged version of the setup file. Have you downloaded the setup file again, then restart the client and try to install it again?
