Change the cost center integer field to string while importing and exporting

Hi All,

I have a custom data entity HRMRecruitmentDataEntity, in this I have cost center field which having EDT property of refrecid EDT...but this is integer data type ..

Here I need the cost center field to be string while importing and exporting . how I can achieve by using which classes...can anyone explain briefly with code complete.

Hi,

Either its AX 2012 or D365 you cannot convert the integer to string field.

You need to find out the table which holds name of the cost center - Add that table to the data entity and then export them.

You can refer to the DefaultDimensionView(View) to find out the tables.
