Access D365 VM through Url (no RDP)

Hello community,

Is it possible to acess a D365 environment Remotly by URL .I would mention that the VM is on local server and I want to acces in my local Network by URL

I haven't tried it but give it a shot. Best is to get one deployed on cloud and then access as anyone else would. The local LAN exposure will still be a workaround.

1- First you need to check local Firewall, and add exception for inbound traffic to port 443 on your local VM.

2- Note your Local IP.

You need to add host Entry on remote PC to point the URL into your local IP.

3- Open notepad as an Admin Mode (local Remote PC)

4- open C:\windows\C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hots file

5- add an entry to point Dynamics 365 URL name usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com Save.

ex:

192.168.0.1 usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com

6- navigate to usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com in the browser.

7- Ignore Certificate warnings.

Hi,

We uses the Local VHD F&O using URL, but at the time of download the file, It given the error.

Does anyone knows the reason for this?
