Record Set Navigation jumps back to top on selection

Has anyone noticed the annoying behavior of Record Set Navigation in 2021 release wave 1?  When selecting a record from the list, the list display jumps back to the top, essentially destroying the usefulness of the feature.  If the Record Set is short it's not too bad, but when working in a long list, the constant scrolling to find your place is frustrating.  The selected record does remain highlighted, but scrolling through even a hundred records to find it is counter-productive at best.

This behavior is new and not what I believe the developers intended.

    Hi Partner,

This Record Set Navigation feature allows you to view recent and bookmarked records, as well as other entities while you have a current form open. It will render the list view you were in before opening the current record.

Through my test, the list display jumps back to the top when select one from the list to open.

Maybe you can go to the following forum and give your ideas in anticipation of this feature being improved in a future update:

This behavior began with 21R1, it remained in context in prior releases

Maybe you can open the ticket with Microsoft and ask for support.
