Hi ,
I am generating payment file via custom batch job. I want to change ReqdExctnDt tag value in output xml file(ISO20022 Credit transfer.xml).In case of manual generate payment file from payment journal it pick value of processing date. As in case of batch job there is no dialogue open where we can put processing date so I want to update this date according to my date. Can anyone suggest where should I write my code in order to fulfill this requirement?
The payment date should be the date on the payment journal line. You can overrule the due date by generating payment proposal. See also the corresponding vendor payment format (ISO20022 CT) to see the logic where the payment date is fetched to the file. When generating the payment file in batch should not use another date than the date on the journal line - you might risk that the payment date on the journal is used for posting the payment in F&O but the payment in bank is done in a different date.
Yes I know payment date should be the date on payment journal lines but I want to change it as per my user requirement. He want to pick next working day from calendar defined in system. That's way I want to change execution date(ReqdExctnDt tag value) in output file accordingly. But could not find exact location where I could change. As I found most of the classes related to payment generation hookable[false].Let me know is there any possible location before generating output file where I can do this change (Pick date from my calendar and set in ReqdExctnDt tag ) rather than payment journal lines date.
