Hi All,

Using admin account, we wanted to create bulk records, but we have info of only one mandatory field to input apart from other fields/validations available on the Form.

However, as part of data migration we want to import all this records to CRM with this basic input data available. How to create/import records in bulk by skipping all mandatory validations or rules available for existing entity.

I have the same question (0)

You can use the Data Import Wizard:

    Hi,

I tried using OOTB excel import option, but its failing as we have many validations, using Plugin and Business rules defined for this entity before "save".

We have around 500 records needs to be created through import, but out of all the required fields . We have data input available  only, for one of the mandatory field as of now.

Will there be any option/scripts  to avoid all the mandatory validation or plugins, just for one time at the time of  this import.

If the fields are mandatory then will not providing data in these fields or in the right format not compromise the validity of these records from a business point of view. These would also be the case if the data in these fields is being used later on as part of Business functionality.

If you would still want the records to be added :

    1) If you have an SSIS component with Kingswaysoft SSIS adaptor, you can take that route.

    2) Write a console app that will add the records using the Organisation Service.

    regards

    Raj
