Hi Forum,

A customer is asking for Navision Integration with Cisco Jabber for outgoing calls from Navision, when he clicks on "Make phone call" button on "Customer card". Do you all have any experience of Navision Integration with Cisco Jabber? This all have to be done Navision 2009 R2.

Thanks

Niraj Kumar

    No with click on "Make phone call". But you can add code on the OnAssistEdit()-Function

    Example for Classic Client:

       VAR

         WSHShell@1100409002 : Automation "{F935DC20-1CF0-11D0-ADB9-00C04FD58A0B} 1.0:{72C24DD5-D70A-438B-8A42-98424B88AFB8}:'Windows Script Host Object Model'.WshShell";

         WSHExec@1100409001 : Automation "{F935DC20-1CF0-11D0-ADB9-00C04FD58A0B} 1.0:{08FED191-BE19-11D3-A28B-00104BD35090}:'Windows Script Host Object Model'.WshExec";

       BEGIN

         IF ISCLEAR(WSHShell) THEN

           CREATE(WSHShell,FALSE,TRUE);

         WSHExec := WSHShell.Exec('C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber\CiscoJabber.exe -URI tel:'+DELCHR("Phone No.", '=', ' '));

       END;

    When you install Cisco Jabber following keys/value added in the registry:

    Key = HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\tel

    Value = URL:Cisco Jabber Protocol

    Key = HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\tel\DefaultIcon

    Value = C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber\CiscoJabber.exe

    Key = HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\tel\shell\open\command

    Value = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber\CiscoJabber.exe" -URI %1

    The code in the previous answer is going the same way. Very simple and it works.

    (Our customer use this for many years...with the classic client)

    Little Update.

    With RTC (NAV2009 RTC and after versions) and active jabber phone services you can write following code:

    HYPERLINK('tel:123456789') (with 123456789 is the phone number)

    Very easy.

    For general test the active phone services write following in the browser:

    tel:123456789 and press enter. It is the same.
