Hello together,
I hope you can help me, because I have not found anything about this in the docs or anywhere else on the internet.
I currently have 3 Finance and Operation Instances (databases) running. 2 of them are automatically updated and remembered. The third one is set up manually every 2 weeks by either pulling a copy of one of the other two or doing a refresh.
I have now noticed that adjustments (or changes eg programmed additional fields), are not taken over in a copy.
Why is this so?
Is there a possibility to take over adjustments also with a copy or must I go then also the "regular" way and import the data, merge etc.?
Many greetings,
Thanks, since it's a new project, I still have some knowledge gaps here. But that makes sense what you write.
I will take it into account in the future. thank you
I'm assuming that you take a backup of DB and restore it in another environment. The backup surely contains all data, including your custom fields, but note that the DB schema is defined by F&O application (and applied on DB synchronization). You didn't mention anything about the application, so it seems to me that you don't pay enough attention to it.
Hi,
yes the system we have in use is Finance and Operations.
Best Regards
Hi,
Is this question related to Dynamics 365 Finance?
