SalesTable ( form) Customer Reference

hi all ,
having one small doubt
In SalesTable(form) a field is there namely WareHouse. In this form(SalesTable) it is present at two places that is Sales Order Line and LinesDetail->Product.
When we change the WareHouse from LinesDetail->Product , then that change is reflecting to the Sales Order Line.WareHouse as well.
Same thing i want For Customer Reference , i have added one field in Sales Order Line TabPage and i want that when this Customer Reference will change then the same should reflect in Sales Order Line(tabPage).CustomerRefernce.
So , guys please give some idea how i achieve this .

simply write your code in modifiedfield (method) of table, in which you have added new field.

put a new case in under switch

Hi Gautam,

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. You are referring to the field Warehouse on Sales Order Line and LineDetails-> Product. In fact it is the same field placed on two different places.

For your field Customer Reference I assume it is one new field on the SalesLine table? Then you can place the field on several places like the grid and details pages. If it is a table field, you don't have to add coding.

here Customer Reference is field from two different table that is SalesLine and SalesTable

but there Warehouse is from same table

But the problem is that data only show when i refresh the form.

Hi Gautam,

You need to call reread and refresh on the datasource to see the updated data. On datasource field's modified method, write the following line of code:

SalesLine_ds.reread()

SalesLine_ds.refresh()

This is based on the assumption that you update the field on SalesLine table.
