Detected 50000 add(s) in Excluded Changes in Pending Changes

Hi Community,

Recently we applied a service update to DEV environment. The update completed successfully, however when we open Pending Changes in version control and expand the Excluded Changes tab, it says Detected 50000 add(s).

When we see the detail, all of these pending changes are related to standard models. Looks like version control is detecting changes because of service update.

What can we do to fix this issue?

It's the standard behavior. Maybe you didn't see that because you already have a .tfignore file for original packages and didn't add the new ones there.

If you don't have any .tfignore file, you can add it.

We do the same thing and when a Microsoft introduces new packages, we simply go and update .tfignore file.

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for helping me! I found the required .tfignore file here.

    github.com/.../D365FO-tfignore

If could see and confirm the contents of the file are correct, that would be much appreciated! Looks okay to me.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Martin!

The issue got resolved after adding .tfignore file to the root of the metadata folder (e.g. K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory).
