Is there a way to view all hours a particular employee has assigned to all work orders they touch?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
From your description, do you want to see how much time an employee spends on each work order? Are you referring to the asset management module? If so, you can refer to this official document: Introduction to work orders - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft LearnSelect Asset management > Work orders > All work orders to open the All work orders list page. This page shows all work orders and some of the information that is related to each.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

Thanks for the response Kevin. What I am looking for is to be able to review time by the employee as opposed to going into each work order. For instance, as a manager of a team, I would be able to pull up each of my employees and see how many hours they logged in today, last week, last month etc. Ideally I would be able to see which work orders they attached what number of hours to. I unfortunately cannot figure out a way to based on an individual without going into each and every work order and manually pulling the data.

    Hi,
Yes, as you say, there are no standard features out of the box to fit your requirements, the current standard feature only supports viewing a single work order, the only possible solution is to filter by worker, but that doesn't seem to solve your problem either. You can use custom development to meet your needs, such as creating a custom report and pulling the data you need. If you don't have a developer, you can enlist the help of a Microsoft partner who will provide you with customized services: Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource.

    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hy,

the Asset management module is associated with the Project module in that way that for every WorkOrder a project or subproject is created. This means that all time posting are available as actuals on theses project.
So you can use tools form the project accounting module to get some insights in time entires and for aggregation I would recommend to activate the Project accounting cube within the entity store. Here you get a basic tabular datawarehouse covering all projects and subproject, actuals, forecasts, ... as well as time dimension for your analytics.
Furthermore you can extend the project acoounting cube as well as the Power BI report to fullfill your reporting requirements.

Within in the Asset management itself there is also the /inqueries/Work Order/Work order hour control/ form which also covers some aggregations including date dimension. Did you try to use this one?

    Hope this helps

    Herzliche Grüße / kind regards,
