Update compensation actions not showing in preview environment.

Reading through the latest release notes, i was trying to test the first part of the new functionality which is mentioned around employee compensation, which clearly shows a blue bar with different update options in it:

However, when i log in to my preview environment, i dont get the same option bar:

does anyone have any idea why this is?
