Hopefully this is a simple question that seems to be /evasive/ in all the documentation.
As you may know, there are simple notes, file, url, image document types. For simple notes, we started to use the default /database/ location to store simple notes. However, we would like to store these simple notes in SharePoint similarily as file attachments.
When we go to add a new document type for a simple note, and set it to use the SharePoint site (everything connects correctly) and we go to save the document type, it saves/revert to using the database location. No error codes, it just saves using the database location option and not the SharePoint site we specified.
I can find nothing in the documentation that talks to the simple note, only attachments which works fine.
