how to consume external web service in GP 2018

Hello.

I want to know how I can consume an external web service, I can not give many details because I still do not assign the project, but I want to see how it is possible to do it, some book, video, etc.

Can you please try to explain this in plain english? or if english is not your main language, write it down in your own words in Spanish or Portuguese, and we'll figure out what you try to achieve.

Based on your reply, there are many different ways to consume or feed data to/from GP.

Is this GP calling a webservice or something external calling a web service in GP (either SOAP based old web services or REST based new Service Based Architecture web services)?

Are you trying to do this as a developer? If so what language are you using?

Hello Marcos,

Part of the answer is dependent on what you mean by consuming an external Web Service.

If you are looking to make the GP Web Service external, you can look here for some general ideas:

community.dynamics.com/.../dns-overview-for-external-workflow-2-0-email-notification-approval

But if you are looking for GP to pull directly from an external source, that is something the community would have to assist with as there are no parts of the core GP process that would do this easily.
