I was wondering if there is a way to keep track of a specified record in a table? Is it possible to know where and when it was updated in the code?

AX 2012 , has feature validate date time stamp. Please enabled this property in table and get the track of records.

Please check currency exchange rate tables and others.

    Hi MozaikAX,

What do you exactly mean with "updated in the code"? Are user manual changes allowed and should these tracked or not? Do you need a complete history or only the last person and date/time a record was changed?

If you use the Database Log functionality, you can keep track of all historical updates of a record. Note that this can decrease the performance of your system and should be monitored and periodically cleaned up when required.
