Issue with dynamics ax 2009 free text invoice report

Hi All,

We are facing an issue with the Free text invoice report in dynamics ax 2009 as it behaves differently for different users . When we print or save the report as pdf for an invoice with multiple lines the report gets generated with different number of pages like for some user the report has 11 pages with 1 invoice line per page while for others the same report gets generated with 2 or 3 pages having invoice lines grouped together. I have gone through the report design but cannot find anything relevant to this . 

Please suggest if you have faced similar issue or what could be the solution for this?

    If cleaning the usage data does not help then I would suggest getting into contact with a developer to take a look at this issue.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for your response , yes it is the same invoice being generated by different users and as per my understanding this cannot be an issue relevant to record level security as all the data is visible its just that for one user the invoice lines are displayed in 11 pages while for others they are grouped on 3 pages .  There are no modifications on the report .

    I haven't tried clearing the usage data yet so will do that now.

    Hello Syed,

    Is it the same invoice that is generated by different users?

    Do they have the same user rights and do they face the same 'restrictions'?

    I am especially asking for record level security related issues where specific users might not be allowed to see all data.

    Have you already taken the 'common' measures of cleaning the usage data of those users that get a strange/different output?

    Can you also let us know whether modifications have been made to the standard free text invoice report?
