Dear

out of 6 Financial Dimensions i have in my account structure i chose 5 Financial dimensions to use in the budget module.

In the Budget >> Setup >> Basic Budgeting >> Dimensions for Budgeting

yet when i did the budget register entry and validated, it is still telling my that my 6th dimension is missing ,

what should i do?

    Hi Silvano,

What has been setup in addition to the dimensions to be used for budgeting? When you register budget register entries, what message/info do you get?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

i am doing the migration using an x++ job , now when i do a line manually it is fine but when i import using my code i get this problem ,

i think the issue is with this line

    buLine.LedgerDimension = AxdDimensionUtil::getLedgerAccountId(accEntryPattern);

the accEntryPattern is the account structure (main account + FD)

i am guessing i should be using another method that retrieves the account structure from the Budget and not from the Ledger

because this x++ job works like a charm when i am migrating to GL

    any ideas ?

    Hi Silvano,

Guess you are right; you can't use the account structure from GL because you might not Budget on all financial dimensions that you use. I am not a developer who can help you much with the coding but can't you simply use the Excel-add in or DIXF to bring your Budget data in AX2012?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hey ludwig

Our developers solved this issue, as expected something was wrong with the code

    Thanks
