Leave balance is zero after a year when Accrual frequency is set to None

Hi all,

Ran into an issue this morning when a user could not request leave after August. I had a look at their time off and the balance resets to 0 after a year, I assume due to the accrual frequency being set to "None" for those leave plans. Is there any way to change it so it will not delete their balance in August?

Hi Ciara, thank for the question!

The functionality was designed to only allow one unexpired enrollment per plan/type. You should set the enrollment's end date to past date and then you will be able to create the new enrollment starting next date after the previous enrollment ended.

The actual issue was that "Maximum carry over" amount was zero, so it was resetting it to zero, be sure to fill that in. Luckily you can also edit this after creation.

Also, as a workaround I intended to enrol the employee on a new plan starting in August, but it will not allow me to enrol her if she is currently enrolled in the previous leave plan. I have specified the end date of the original plan and ensured it was before the enrolment date of the new one, but it still gives the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
