Employee Discount Pricing (2): Unit Cost 10%

(0) ShareShare

Instead of offering a flat percentage discount to all employees, they need to be able to offer the discount of:

Unit Cost + 10% = Employee price

I can only find ways to offer a flat percentage discount (30% on items), is there a ways to do this based on the price of the item?

    Hi Edward,

Somehow it's a bit unclear.  Could you provide more details?

    Let me clarify:

As of right now, we have the capability to offer staff a 30% discount on all of our items. The Line Discount Offer looks like this:

However, this is not how we want to calculate the staff discount. We need the discount to depend on this field on the Item Card:

The staff discount should equal Unit Cost + 10% which in this case would be $5.70 + $0.57 = $6.27

    Edward,

Line Discount is used to give discount on the current price which is deduction of the price but your example looks like you want to add custom pricing based on the item/ customer you want to add some percent , if that is the case you can use sales prices to setup prices based on customer/item/posting group.

Currently, any discounts offered are a calculation between the Unit Price (as seen above) and the percentage taken off the Unit Price (-30%).

We need it to work differently, we want the discount to be a calculation between Unit Cost and a percentage added to the Unit Cost (+10%).

Unfortunately i don't believe there is any standard setup to accomplish this you need to make the customization to achieve this.
