Attach pdf file with URL type

Hello,

When i want to open the attached URL path which is PDF file, system throws an error: The window could not be opened. Please check your pop-up blocker settings and add an exception for Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

I have enabled the Pop-up blocker and restarted the browser, same case on Edge and IE.

Hope someone help me. Thank you in advance.

Do you have any additional popup blocker as browser extension?

in addition may you please check this setting in Chrome. You can find it on the left side of the address bar by clicking the lock. Unfortunately in German but it means "pop-ups and rerouting" = "allowed"

Have you been able to get this resolved in the meantime?

Must be a browser setting; please see the feedback of Christoph.

If you cannot get it resolved try to restart your browser.

If this does not work, contact your IT admins for some help.

Has anybody the solution why this appears? I have the same issue that a URL in an attachment related to a file is being blocked, in below case a picture or a pdf file.

Other pop ups and URLs works from Dynamics like websites, is it just files that does not work.
