How to update Base sales prices

(1) ShareShare

Hello,

I know how to update trade agreements via Excel: one can export the trade agreement journal lines to Excel, edit them and publish them back. Then, one can validate the journal lines and post them.

Is there a similar way to update the Base sales prices?
I have to modify some 10000 lines...

Any help would be welcome.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

We analyzed your requirements and based on the information you provided, we determined that the product you are using is Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, is this correct?

If you are not using D365 Supply Chain Management. Would you be able to provide more information about this issue? For example, which product you are using, etc. This will help us to better understand your needs.

If you are using D365 Supply Chain Management. We recommend you post this question in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain forum, where your problem will be noticed by many experts in the field, and you will get a more effective solution.

You can use the "released products v2" (EcoResReleasedProductV2Entity) or use the Excel add-in behind the released products form.

    Hello,

    1. We are using Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and I don't see the forum with this name.
    2. Yes, there is the possibility to use "released products v2", but where are the cost and base sales prices there? I cannot fnd the corresponding fields...

Moved to the Finance forum, which is one of the F&O forums (and the most active one).

I agree that locating the right forum isn't easy and I provided this feedback to Microsoft, but I don't know if they're going to change anything.

    Partial solution I used :

One can paste values from Excel for multiple rows / columns.
But the list should not be very long. I did it by slices of 500 items.
So, first, you filter the list of products to have a slice of 500 items.
Then, you click the little "edit" pencil over the field you want to change and you paste a list of 500 values that has been previously copied from the Excel file. Of course, the items should be in the exactly same order in Dynamics and in Excel.
If it worked, you will se a popup containing two buttons - "Save" and "Discard". If you are happy with what you see, press "Save". The records are saved one by one.

In ReleasedProductsV2, PURCHASEPRICE AND SALESPRICE are your base price fields.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

Indeed, one can use the "Released products V2" option with Excel.
Then, one must go to "Design" and add a field "SalesPrice – Sales price".
    "Update"/"Refresh".
After that, one may modify the data as needed and publish it.
