Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Archived)

NAV Server running problem

Hello All,

I have created a new Database called 'ABC' and restored my backup file.Now I have configured my NAV Server with corresponding database.I have restarted the NAV server and When I tried to see the database info from the Development environment.I cannot see the information and I cannot run my NAV server as well.

    The problem was the picture you posted where there was no database information.

    So,I fixed it by going to the SQL Server Management Studio and under the server,I expand security folder.Under the security folder I clicked on login folder and I went to the proporties of  "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" user and on the User Mapping tab I selected the database.Finally,I restarted the server from administration tool.And Now,It is perfectly working

    Please then check the Event Viewer and paste here the error related to the NAV server not starting.

    It will be more clear.

    Check you have the access to the database (database map)  and what is the account you used to run the NAV service.

    I have given the database name to the NAV Server from administration tool.So,I guess it has the access to the database

    Its running with the local service account
