Regarding Lookup in the hr module

hello... i want to filter the look on the value for example i the HR module there is skills type of any worker or employee..so my query id that when i select the skill type "IT", the new field show only the it skills details... id i select the skill type "finance",only the look up show the finance skill only.. for reference pls see it  USMF/Human resources/Area page/setup/competencies/skills/skilltypes

    hello, what you can do is create a new table and relate the table with the new field, add the skill types in the new table.

    your new table will contain two fields the description and the skill type.

    Then create the logic to return the query when the skill types is selected to IT, all the IT records in the new table must be select them in the query, everytime they change the skill type you will call it again.

    I hope you like my idea.
