How Do I Post A Blog Post For BC?

Hi All,
 
We would like to be able to post blog posts for BC to let people know about what we have available if they would like to watch the demos.
 
This does not properly belong on the forums because they are not questions.
 
So we were thinking the blog posts are more appropriate.
 
But there is no "create post" button we can find and we figure that there is some application process we must go through.
 
If anyone has any tips we would very much appreciate any help you can offer us.

    Thank you for your reply.

    We have gotten a response from our application and so I have asked a question.
     
    We are committed to BC for the long term and we want to be good citizens in the BC community.
     
    One of the terms is not to promote ones company etc.
     
    My opinion is that what I planned to put there might step over that line and I have explained and asked about it.
     
    We are developing Excel reports on top of the BC data base that will be "better" than other peoples reports. (Of course, that's our opinion..LOL!)
     
    I am of the opinion that would be over-stepping what MSFT wants on the blog. So better to ask up front.
     
    We are early in this process.
     
    Later we can open up a blog where we talk about answering very complex questions from BC.
     
    I supported a NAV customer for 6 years before they moved to SAP.

    I had hoped they would upgrade to BC but "Head Office" said SAP and they didn't have a choice.

    We have all the work we did on NAV answering very complex questions using the data warehouse we still support there.
     
    They will make good blog posts when we have migrated it all to BC.

    Hi Peter,

    If you are connected with Bret, you are OK. It is possible to syndicate only specific posts from an RSS feed. Many years ago, I was posting my blogs at the website of my employer. Then we set the syndication to only copy the blogs where I was the author. Now I have my own blog page and sync all.

    thank you very much for the tip.
     
    I have gone over and applied and linked to Bret.
     
    There is a rule: "The blog is not to be used for marketing one’s business or services or promoting competing products."
     
    And we would want to observe that, so I wanted to check with Bret first where the line is.
     
    We have a series of products we will be bringing out around BI that we would like to sell in the BC store.
     
    So we will need to know if they must be excluded from any such blog posts.
     
    We can limit our posts that get put on the BC blog to exclude anything that crosses the line above.
     
    But we also want to operate in the spirit of these forums and blogs and not "skate around them".
     
    That's not fair and reasonable.
     
    We have to earn our place at the table like everyone else. :-)

    I was thinking about the blogs here on D365 community. It appears that people can post a blog post there and link their blogs.

    Or you can rent a server and build your own blog using WordPress, and you can buy a domain name and bind it to it. I believe if you search Youtube, you can find some useful videos.
