Hi All.
I am using Hyper V (VM 10.0.5 ). I have configured Azure DEV Ops and able to generate Token also. That token I wants to apply in LCS but not able to understand where to apply.
I have already created Project in Azure Dev Ops but not able to get that project in LCS.
I referred the link Setup Azure DevOps Project for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations - Microsoft Dynamics AX Community
In the link
I am not able to get the below path as mentioned on the link after login on LCS
What are you trying to achieve?
Hi Martin.
The token which I generated form Azure DEV Ops ,
Token -
vwgumpxuexnc2xkedhgip2eckaopy3duda7pz4saw2yytgo2jkmq
the above token I want to apply on LCS but I not understand where to apply ?
I referred the below link
community.dynamics.com/.../setup-azure-devops-project-for-dynamics-365-finance-operations
Please give me more shed on this.
thanks!
What you should do depends on what you want to achieve.
For example, maybe you want do use Azure DevOps as source control and you don't need to do anything in LCS at all. Or maybe you want to deploy a build server, set up work item synchronization or how know what else. Talking about little details makes little sense without thinking what the result should be.
Simply I followed the link which i shared. that I am trying to achieve. Really confused now
Hi @rp@n,
Before you can go to the Project Settings, you first need to create a "Finance and Operations" project on LCS. Can you explain what exactly you mean with "VM 10.0.5"?
The 10.0.5 is the version of .vhd file.
Hi @rp@n ,
From the look of things, you want to configure Azure DevOps project that you created with a Finance and operation project on LCS. However, you do not have any LCS project yet. This is Possible only when you have a Finance and Operation project on LCS.
I also sense that, you want to link the DevOps project you created with Visual studio in the VHD you downloaded.
Please confirm.
You indeed look confused if your only reason for following a blog post is following the blog post and don't do it to achieve anything. You may be wasting your (and our) time if you're trying to set up something that you don't need at all.
Unfortunately, you also failed to describe your problem properly. Did you find Project settings mentioned in the blog post? The tab isn't called Visual Studio Team Services anymore - it's Azure DevOps instead. Do you see it?
Where did you get the VHD file?
Yes Komi.
Thanks for quick response.
