Hi,
I want to install Microsoft Dynamic NAV 2013 and configure SQL give me error (
Could not connect to the SQL database. (-2147217843 master ). This can be caused by insufficient permissions. Indirect permissions through Windows group memberships may not work as expected when User Account Control (UAC) is turned on.)
what is problem and how to fix it?

Some Specific Reasons -
1. Setup.Exe is placed at a long path. Move the DVD to ROOT Drive Like D and Rename the Folder with a Small Name. Sometime Exe is unable to Read Long Names.
2. Run Setup.Exe as Administrator.
3. IN Windows Search for UAC and Turn it On.
4. If you are doing installation on multiple server, check for the firewall and the ports for SQL and Navision Service Ports. They Should be allowed on Firewall or the there should not be any firewall.
5. Check your permission on the system, you should be part of administrator group.
6. Check for Your windows Login permission on SQL Server. You should have sufficient permissions on SQL.

are nav service and sql database / sql service on the same Server?
what ist the nav service account ?
what nav setup modus did you use ? demo, client , server , ...
to get a first success remove the current nav and sql server and setup nav using demo modus.
